Clerestory Cruciform Stained Glass Cross Windows Over the past 200 centuries, there have been many distinct renderings of The Cross, the most fundamental symbol of Christianity. There are at least 200 recognized variations of The Cross, symbolizing many different aspects of Christianity, all with their own special history. At St. Joseph , Husband of Mary Church, the Clerestory (ceiling) section of the main sanctuary is adorned with 20 unique stained glass windows depicting the different styles of The Cross. These exquisite works of art provide a unique perspective of Christian history with each Cross having its own special story and significance.
